It's His Wedding Day Too!!

It Is His Wedding Day Too

Weddings are one of my favorite types of photography. Being able to look back on this special day and remember the love and joy all around you, through photographs. Many people focus solely on the bride and don't pay much attention to the groom. At Honour Lee Photography we notice the groom as well.   This is an emotional time for him as well. Everyone is focused on the bride as she walks down the aisle and they completely miss the look of complete adoration and love the groom shows for a fleeting moment when he sees his bride walking towards him for the first time. We don't. We make sure we capture that moment so that everyone that missed it gets to see it in the wedding photos.

When two hearts are joined together, you want a photographer that can capture every moment. Don’t trust your wedding photos to just anyone with a camera. Make sure they know what they are doing and not just using the “fake it till you make it” philosophy. You only have one shot to get it right. You cannot re-enact the 1st kiss, or the look on the grooms face when he sees his bride walking down the aisle.  Most people won't capture a bridesmaid in deep conversation, that will make people chuckle for years to come, wondering what she was telling him.  Through a photo seeing the groom's mom help him with his boutonniere.  The look on the brides face when she sees her groom. And oh my, the emotion on her dad's face when he’s walking his baby girl down towards her groom to give her away.

Yes,  the Bride is the main focus of attention at all weddings.  We believe the groom has been overlooked for far too long and we want him to feel admired and important too.  A marriage is a partnership, the joining of two lives living together in peace and harmony.  One person is not more important than the other.  They are equal.  So on this day we believe both bride and groom should receive equal attention and recognition.  After all, It is his wedding day too.
